Getting started information for new employee. Below are the things that we need you to do on your first day at work:
1. Gmail account
Set up a new Gmail account. Existing Gmail account can also be used.
Provide the email address for department Manager after account has been set up.
Important emails, notices or documents from department Manager will be sent to you via email.
In addition to that, activate your Google Chat or Hangout.
2. TASKPAD account
We required you to record all tasks that you have performed or planned to do.
Log in to the TASKPAD website at http://www.datapuri.com/TASKPAD/
Click on Create your own account and fill in all your information. NOTE: Use your Employee Number as the user ID. Specify your Gmail account as your Email Address. After all information is provided, click on the REGISTER button.
Wait for registration confirmation via email and upon activation, you can start log into your TASKPAD account.

Your Team Lead will coach you on how to use the TASKPAD.
NOTE: Administrator, check with HR Department if the staff record has been registered in HRIS. His or her Employee Number is required for account activation.
3. Time Clock
Proceed to Time Clock page at http://www.datapuri.com/TASKPAD/timelog.php
Insert the same user ID and password that you have created for your TASKPAD account. Select ClockIn and click OK. Information will be saved and your name and Clock-In time will appear.
Clock-In everyday upon reaching office. Before leaving office after office hours, please Clock-Out.
Please be punctual for work every day and Clock-In before 8:30AM (if you are in Stutong office) to avoid your name appearing in red.
If you are stationed at Customer site, please observe their working hours schedule.
Tardiness Report: For non-shift staff, please report to work before 8:30am to avoid your name being listed in the Tardiness Report. Those record may affect your year-end increment and performance bonuses.
4. SMG ESS Account
We required you to apply leave online via SMG SS at http://www.datapuri.com/SM (for staff under probation, your leave balance will be zero, you need to apply for UNPAID leave using Hardcopy Leave Application form).
Your ESS Account is pre-approved. Use your Employee Number as your user id to access the SMG ESS site.

5. Desktop PC
The company will provide a Desktop PC for all new employees. PC can only be use strictly for work purpose only.
We require our staff to be focus and productive, as such, usage of Internet for Social Networking, Gaming, Entertainment, File Sharing, Warez, Porno is strictly prohibited. We hired you, not Facebook or Twitter.
6. Door access card / Attendance smart card
Employee personal door access card and/or attendance smart card will be provided by Administrator. Your access card can only be used to access 3rd floor office.
If you are stationed at Customer site, you will also be provided with another door access card.
7. Stationery / Contact List
Stationeries will be provided by the Administrator on the first day of work. If you need to request other stationery for office use, kindly fill in the Stationery Requisition Form.
Stationery Requisition Form can be obtained from office Administrator. See also Stationery Requisition page.
Contact numbers of all the staff in IT department will be provided through email. The online copy of the Contact List is also available.
8. Working at KPA
If you are stationed at KPA, you are required to apply for KPA Personal Pass and Vehicle Pass.
Personal Pass and Vehicle Pass forms can be obtained from the KPA Computer Room.
Remind your immediate supervisor to request for Safety Boot.
9. Opening of Bank Account
Salary are credited to staff bank account.
Our nominated bank to handle staff salary is AM Bank, Stutong Branch. To open a new Saving Account at AM Bank, you need a minimum RM20 cash as well as a Letter of Authorization from our company.
10. Car Park
There is no car park fee impose at our office area in Stutong.
11. Cost Saving Policy
Last person leaving the working area to switch OFF the Light during lunch break.
For draft reports, use recycled papers for printing. Only use NEW sheet to print document meant for higher management, formal report or documents for external customers or external parties.
Recycle A4 papers, don't throw away the paper if one side is not used or clean.
SHUTDOWN your PC, photocopying machine, printer before weekend break or long holiday.
12. Who and who
These are the people that you need to have close contact with during your first week at work:
Zul, our Network and Infra Specialist. Dealing with data communication and hardware.
Miliza, our Administrator.
13. Leave

If you are not coming to office due emergency or not feeling well, please inform your immediate superior (so that he or she will record your absence in our Team Calendar).
When you report back for work, please apply the leave with TAC. For staff under probation, emergency leave will be converted to UNPAID leave.
For Sick Leave, valid Sick Certificate or Medical Certificate and Clinic Receipt from the clinic is required.
Non-compliant of the above will result in disciplinary action.

Please provide us your handphone number. Your supervisor will add it to our Contact List
If you are using a Smart Phone, we encourage you to install and use Whatsapps. We will add you to our Team Pasti Nyala Whatsapps group for the purpose of notification and information sharing.
