We want Park Ridge to be a place where everyone feels heard. Sometimes neighbors just have everyday ideas, and other times there are formal issues that need to follow Virginia’s legal process. This page explains the difference so you know exactly how to share what’s on your mind.
What it is:
Casual concerns, ideas, or suggestions.
Examples: messy mulch, mailbox lighting, barking dogs, event ideas.
How to share:
Use the Neighbor Feedback Form (link/button PENDING).
Or bring it up at a board meeting.
What happens next:
Board may issue courtesy notices, discuss improvements, or simply note your idea.
Not part of the legal complaint process.
What it is:
Written allegations of violations of CCRs, Bylaws, or adopted Rules & Regulations.
How to file:
Use the PRD Complaint Form (link/button here).
Must reference a specific rule, covenant, or bylaw.
Anonymous complaints are not accepted.
What happens next:
Logged by the Secretary.
Reviewed by the Board within 90 days.
May involve a hearing and written decision.
If you disagree, you can appeal to the Virginia CIC Ombudsman.
