Important Popcorn Information

Be courteous and kind to all people even if they don't buy popcorn.     

To set up a profile online go to  www.trails-end.com and register and you will be able to set up a webpage. Or accept the link that was emailed by the Popcorn Kernel.

Ways to sell

1. Door to door (start as early as July 1st) 

   • Be sure to wear your Class A uniform (scout shirt, blue dress pants or shorts)!  

   • Can order to deliver later (wagon sale) 

   • Can order to delivery to customer (online sale)

   • We can take credit through the app, use a Square adapter or text the order to customer for them to add their card

2. Online Sales (each Scout has their own website at https://www.trails-end.com/) Year Round

   • Can be emailed or texted to people or shared through social media through the app or website

3. Store Front Sales

   • May not be available this year - details to come a popcorn kick-off

Donations can be accepted:

• If donations are solicited (you asked for) they are to go to the American Heros program in the app

• If donations are not solicited (requested) they are for the pack. Please thank the donor and contact the popcorn kernel about the donation

Order Popcorn in App 

• Wagon Sales have the option of direct delivery to customers or later delivery by Scout

• Online links can be email or texted for people to order from the website

• How do I get the product that I have orders for?

• Once the product arrives in Sept-Nov it will be available to pick at your Den meetings.

• Ideally all orders are entered into the Trail’s End App but if not please email orders to Marnie (popcorn.pack617@gmail.com). All orders in the App are seen by Marnie for ordering.

What are the Key Dates for the 2024 Fundraiser?

Fall

•  – Popcorn fundraiser kickoff - Aug 29 

•  - Final orders due to me - .TBD

•  - Last popcorn Order arrives - will be sorted and available at Den Meeting the following week 

•  - Final money due - payment can be made this year through the app by credit card or bring the money to the Den Meetings

Trails-end Reward Points System

Points are earned for each dollar raised different levels are points are rewarded based on how the sales were done

• 1 points for each $1 sold

• Watch for bonus point weekends during the sale

What are some of the prizes?

• Prizes are shown in the Trails End app and are Amazon gift cards - those will issue through the app before Cyber Monday - rewards start at 400 points

• Dan Beard Council has bonus rewards at 800, 1750, and 3500

• Other pack prizes will be announced at the Popcorn Kickoff
