Spring Campout is here!

Spring Cabin Camping is May 3-5, 2019.

We will be trying something new with our cabin set-up for our Spring Campout. We have all 6 Kit Carson cabins, which holds a maximum of 8 people each, reserved for the weekend. That provides us with the ability to accommodate all boys/girls, ladies/gentlemen in a centralized location. There is also room for tent camping if the weather is nice and you are so inclined. For those that are not familiar, the Kit Carsons are on their own peninsula just below Forester Lodge, where we stayed in the fall. The lake is just over the hill, so bring fishing gear if you wish to fish.

Please fill out the online form and let us know whether you intend to participate in camping, no later than end of day Monday, April 29. Camping fee is due no later than Tuesday April 30, at the pack meeting.

CAMPING INFO:

WHEN: Friday evening 5/3/19 (check in at 6 PM) to Sunday 5/5/19 (check out by noon)

WHERE: Camp Manatoc - Kit Carson cabins #1 - #6

WHO: Open to all scouts and their families

COST: $15 per camper (adults and scouts) - covers cost of food and related supplies

CABIN OR TENT - You may choose to sleep in one of the cabins, or bring a tent and enjoy the great outdoors.

FEMALES - The location with smaller cabins means girls (including scouts and siblings) and adult female family members will have their own cabin(s) on location OR may stay in their own tents if desired as well.

PLANNED FUN:

ARCHERY - note that we have the Archery range from 9AM to 11AM on Saturday 5/4. We will all hike over to the range that morning after breakfast.

Camping sign-up is open until our pack meeting Tuesday, April 30 (our pack Recruitment Night), which is also when payment is due.
