Toys for Tots Success 2016

posted Feb 6, 2017, 6:50 PM by Pack 27

On Saturday December 3, 2016 boys from Pack 27 delivered over 120 toys collected in this years 'Toys for Tots' drive.  A special train picked up the Toys in Wykoff manned by many volunteers including U.S. Marine Corps. A service project well done by the pack that will certainly help those children in need of having a brighter Christmas this year.  We would like to thank the Glen Rock/St. Catherine/Academy of Our Lady Community for the support and generosity!

Lion Den Pilot - Kindergarten Boys

posted Sep 9, 2016, 12:09 PM by Troop 27   [ updated Sep 9, 2016, 12:19 PM ]

We Need You!  New this year is a national pilot program to bring Cub Scouting to Kindergarten boys.  This is the Lion Den program, and Pack 27 has been asked to pilot the program for the Northern NJ District.  We need a Den Leader to volunteer to run Den meetings, and the Cubmaster and assigned Boy Scout Den Chief will assist.  Lions will be able to join Pack meetings, and participate on most trips (those that do not have age restrictions).  This is potentially a great opportunity for your son to have a fun time while learning valuable skills.  Please reach out and contact me if you are interested in being a leader.  Details on the program are attached below.
