We do our best not to overwhelm families with fundraising but we still want to keep our costs down to as low as possible. Our main fundraiser for our Pack and our Scouts is the fall Campmasters popcorn sale. In spring, Scouts can opt to sell meat sticks to raise funds to go to camp. We also have an online flower sale that we participate in.
KEY DATES
● Sale begins August 20
● Collect payments as soon as you receive an order
● Take order forms and payment due on October 24th
● Take order popcorn pickup Nov 15
There are 2 ways to sell popcorn:
1. Scouts can promote their sale online for internet sales - see Mr Dan for your code.
2. Scouts may also take orders using the sheet. Collect payment and record what your customer wants. These sheets are due by October 19th. Popcorn pickup will be Nov 17th.
Benefits of popcorn include:
Your Scout earns 20% of all their sales for their Scout account. The Pack earns 10%. The remainder supports the local council and pays for product and prizes.
Being a salesperson and learning to pay your own way are important life skills.
