Wearing the Uniform

In general, every Cub Scout should wear their uniform to den and pack meetings and some special events.  

When playing sports, going to camp, or participating in other physical activities, a pack may opt to have the Cub Scouts wear an alternate uniform, such as an activity shirt. These are sometimes referred to as Class B Uniforms.  

Here are some tips for wearing the uniform:

• • DO keep the uniform clean and in good repair. The official uniform is a sturdy, machine-washable garment that will last for years with proper care.

  • DO be sure to wear the complete uniform. A Cub Scout wearing a uniform with parts missing is not in uniform.

Any time you are uncertain about uniform regulations, ask the den leader for guidance.

Pack 193 Provides neckerchief scarfs and slides to registered Scouts.

❖ Lions may wear either the Lion t-shirt or the blue uniform shirt.

❖ Blue Cub Scout Shirt with U.S. flag

❖ Great Falls Council Patch

❖ 193 numeral patches (red and white numerals)

❖ World Crest Emblem (purple patch with the fleur-de-lis symbol)

❖ 1910 World Crest Ring Patch

❖ Optional: Official Lion, Tiger, Wolf or Bear Hat

❖ Optional: Cub Scout Web Belt And Buckle 

❖ Optional: Official Cub Scout [Shorts / Pants]

❖ Optional: Official Tiger (orange stripe) or Cub Scout (yellow stripe) Socks
