Educating ourselves about what goes on around us is the only way we can formulate informed decisions. Following current events is the price we must each pay to sustain a thriving democracy. In addition to being a good citizen, current evens also help us build language, vocabulary, reading comprehension, critical thinking, problem solving, oral expression, and listening skills.
Follow this outline when doing your current events each week. To receive full credit it must be done according to this outline with each question answered. This assignment is due every MONDAY, however, I accept Current Events up until Friday. Current Events are the only assignment that is not accepted late.
