Treatment Records

Treatments record the area where an invasive species was managed. It provides a way to track what type of management was used (e.g., mechanical removal, chemical treatment, trapping) and what the goal was (e.g., containment, eradication).

The main Treatment fields include:

  • Species scientific name
  • Treatment type (chemical, physical, or biological)
  • Treatment start date
  • Treatment end date
  • Lead contact
  • Treatment goal

Each treatment type has additional fields to record specifics about the method of treatment.

Many additional fields are available in an associated Searched Area record to track crew size, costs, weather conditions, volunteer hours, and more.
