Mobile Apps

The iMapInvasives Mobile App is available from the Apple Store and Google Play.

The iMap App allows you to create presence records and not-detected records from your smart phone using your device's camera and GPS. Internet connectivity is not needed as you can wait to upload your sightings when you have an Internet connection. For collecting any type of iMapInvasives records (including treatment records) there is a Survey123 form which also allows data collection without Internet.

You can also use iMapInvasives from your phone or tablet's browser when you are in connectivity. iMapInvasives is responsive to a variety of screen sizes and is mobile-enabled.

See http://www.imapinvasives.org/mobile-tools for more information and guides to the iMap Mobile App.

To use the app you will need an iMapInvasives account and username - if you do not yet have one please create an account.

Another option for collecting observations with your phone is to use iNaturalist. Download the iNaturalist app from the Google Play or Apple App store then join the iMapInvasives iNaturalist Project to report your invasive species sightings to iMap.
