1960's street map of Carrum
1967 map of the area - Carrum in the 1950s and early 1960s was a place of laneways, bush and swamp. During the winter large areas in Valetta Street were frequently flooded. It was a haven for frogs, local children spent many happy hours catching tadpoles.
