Orgue Fondettes - Gospel et Orgue

L'Association pour l'Orgue de Fondettes propose un concert de musique populaire le 1er octobre prochain avec l'ensemble SOUL VOICES. Les voix dialogueront avec l'orgue animé par Xavier Charles Catta, compositeur et accompagnateur, bien connu des tourangeaux.

Une configuration inhabituelle entre un ensemble vocal accompagné d'une guitare amplifiée face au nouvel orgue de Fondettes - de style baroque allemand - avec au clavier le virtuose Xavier Charles Catta, aussi à l'aise dans l'improvisation du Jazz que dans Chopin ou Liszt !

SOUL VOICES

Sur la route depuis près de 20 ans le groupe Soul Voices n’a cessé de sillonner la France afin de diffuser le précieux message que contient son gospel.

Tous réunis à Tours par Loreney, à l’origine chanteuse de blues et de soul, sous la bannière de la mixité et de la diversité, les membres de cette formation sont issus de tous horizons : gospel, blues, jazz, soul, hip hop, blancs, black, de confessions et d’origines diverses. C’est un mélange des cultures et des genres et de ce fait une grande tolérance qui leur permet de pouvoir renouveler régulièrement leur spectacle de gospel traditionnel et old school proposé aussi bien dans les festivals, les salles de spectacle, les cathédrales ou les églises de campagne.

galvanisé par La motivation que lui procure la magie des rencontres avec le public, le groupe Soul Voices s’emploie à cultiver la flamme et la ferveur de cette musique sacrée afro-américaine et prend soin de respecter son authenticité. Un spectacle de soul Voices, c’est toujours un grand plaisir pour le public de réentendre les grands succès du gospel et negro spirituals comme « Amazing Grace », « Oh When the Saints go Marching in » ou « Oh Happy Day ».

Le choeur de 4 chanteuses aux voix soul est composé de Loreney (direction artistique et chant lead), feue GOMEZ (choeur), Déborah ANDRADE (choeur) et Clémentine SAIS (choeur). Elles sont accompagnées par Jack CIGOLINI à la guitare.

Un spectacle de Soul Voices c’est un moment privilégié de partage, joie, riche en couleurs et harmonies.

Xavier Charles Catta

Xavier-Charles CATTA Formé au Conservatoire de Clermont-Ferrand, obtient ses Premiers Prix d'écriture et de piano puis ses Diplômes d'Etat (Professeur de Piano et Formation Musicale), et une Licence de Musicologie.
Sa carrière de pianiste concertiste est dense : en récital - Les Douze études Transcendantes (Liszt) - en soliste -concerto avec Orchestre- (Liszt- Rachmaninov-Gershwin) sous la direction de Jean- Marc Cochereau, Philippe Ferro, Jean-Clément Jollet.

Il est de tous les répertoires sur la scène, sur piano d'époque (Chopin), en musique de chambre (Sabine Morel), avec les danseurs, choeurs, comédiens, chanteurs de renommée internationale (Udo Reinemann, Patrick Vilet) En spectacle ou stage avec des Maîtres & Etoiles de la danse classique.

Après plus de 20 ans titulaire au Conservatoire de Tours (Pianiste, Compositeur, Improvisateur),

il est désormais Professeur de Piano ainsi qu'intervenant sur d'autres missions spécifiques au Conservatoire de Thiers ( Compositeur, Histoire de la Musique, Ensembles pour clavier, Accompagnateur).
