Using an Ansoff Matrix, the researcher analyzed C.E.O. Women's funding sources (see picture below). Current ongoing programs and a few of the current donors that fund these programs were observed. New donors that could potentially fund these current programs were also analyzed. Next, the researcher listed the new programs mentioned in the value curve, and highlighted how some of the current donors can expand their funding for these programs. Lastly, the researcher looked at new donors that C.E.O. Women could approach to fund the potential new programs.
In reality C.E.O. Women is funded through a wide variety of private and individual donors and our matrix does not include a comprehensive list. This matrix, however, helps illustrate how an organization can visualize their various funding sources and how they can approach new funding sources. Although this matrix only includes two of C.E.O. Women's funders, one of which supports C.E.O. Women through staffing and not through monetary support, this matrix provides a picture the kinds of resources currently available to C.E.O. Women as well as potential ways that C.E.O. Women could expand their programmatic services with funding from current donors and well as new donors.
