Gratitude Board Workshops

Coming from a Place of Gratitude (Spiritual dimension)

The series of sessions starts with gratitude imaging because if you are thankful for what you have, then you will believe that you can achieve or attract more.

So many times as peers we get complacent. So many of us have been told that the best we can achieve is stability. This is what we should aspire to. This is a myth. As long as you breathe, there is room for aspiration in your life. Actually it is your breath of air.

Aspirations can be large or small, but they grow best from positive soil and an environment of gratitude. This is the reason we single out the positives in our lives that make us grateful.

It has been documented in studies and reported by one of Harvard Medical School’s Health publications in November 2011 that gratitude can actually positively affect your symptomatic feelings of wellness; especially depression. I have also run across articles where peers are including gratitude plans in their WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan). These are not surprising outcomes to me. People who are gracious are free to blossom in the Universe. This has to make you feel good.

It is, however, important to note that gratitude does not have to be expressed to any one source. It is a personal choice you make when you extend your gratitude, even in your mind. (This may be a stand-alone workshop and is highly recommended with the vision board.)
