Sarah Roselli
Weill Cornell

My name is Sarah and I’m a Sub-Intern from Weill Cornell. Some of my academic interests include social EM, critical care, and medical education. Prior to medical school I was a clinical social worker at NYP Cornell in the Victim Intervention Program. Outside of medicine, I love running, inline skating, baking, and hanging out with my dog, Rosie.


Ruby Chung
SUNY Downstate

My name is Ruby and I am a Sub-Intern visiting from SUNY Downstate. I'm interested in going into Emergency Medicine and am open to learning more about ultrasound, simulation, and anything procedural! In my free time, I love to explore new restaurants or pin them all on my Google Maps, work on some jigsaw/lego/crochet projects, and of course a little Netflix time. I'm very interested in staying in NYC and would love to hear more about the residents' and attendings' opinions on this program!

Gabrielle (Gaby) Ramirez
Weill Cornell

My name is Gabrielle (Gaby), and I am a Sub-Intern from Weill Cornell. Academically, I'm interested in quality improvement and health services research using community tele-paramedicine to improve access to care. Outside of the hospital, I head a student-run harm reduction clinic, run marathons, and am currently training for my first 70.3 triathlon.

Rutgers New Jersey Medical School

My name is Lana, and I am a Sub-Intern visiting from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. My professional interests include EMS and Social Medicine. In my free time, I love to hike, explore new restaurants in NYC, and spend time with my family. I’ve also been an EMT for eight years and still take shifts as often as I can! 

Alex Hu
University of Cincinnati

My name is Alex Hu and I am a sub-intern visiting from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine! Some of my professional interests include critical care and medical education. Outside of school, I enjoy photography, table tennis, and working on various personal projects. My most recent endeavor involves collaborating with a NYC-based startup to explore how AI can be used to improve efficiency in medicine. I am excited to meet you all!

Anna Motulsky
Oregon Health & Science University

My name is Anna Motulsky and I am a Sub-Intern visiting from Oregon Health & Science University. I plan to apply into Emergency Medicine this fall and am particularly interested in palliative care and queer health. When not in the hospital, I can be found running, taking my dog on long walks, and finding new favorite pastries. 

Ashri Anurudran
Harvard Medical School

Hi my name is Ashri Anurudran and I am a sub-intern visiting from Harvard Medical School. I grew up in England, Malaysia, and the United States, and this upbringing inspired my interest and commitment to global women's health. For the past decade, I have worked in India, Kenya, and the US on public health initiatives related to gender-based violence. As an aspiring physician, I hope to support survivors of interpersonal violence and work on improving trauma-informed care access across clinical contexts. Outside of medicine, I like to try new cuisines, box, dance, and just started learning how to DJ!

My name is Lisa, and I am a Sub-Intern from Weill Cornell. I am interested in global health research, harm-reduction, trauma-informed care, and ultrasound. In my free time, I enjoy eating my way around the city, running, thrifting, and going to concerts. I am looking forward to working with everyone!

My name is Gab, and I am a Sub-Intern visiting from Boston University. My professional interests include Palliative Care, Addiction Medicine, and Social EM. My favorite things to do outside of work are reading, thrifting, walking around the city, and taking workout classes.

My name is Uday Rallabhandi, and I am a Sub-Intern visiting from the Anne Burnett School of Medicine at Texas Christian University. My academic interests within emergency medicine are critical care and informatics. My favorite hobby is traveling: I have traveled to 8 countries since starting medical school!

Julia Felsenstein

My name is Julia and I am a Sub-Intern visiting from SUNY Downstate. I’ll be applying into EM this fall; I’m particularly interested in pediatric emergency medicine, critical care, and global health. In my free time, I enjoy running and spending time outside, reading, and cooking. I’m looking forward to spending the month at NYP and meeting all of the faculty and residents!

Gabriel Luce

My name is Gabriel, and I am a Sub-Intern visiting from SUNY Downstate.  My academic interests include medical education, artificial intelligence, ultrasound, addiction medicine, simulation, and trauma.  I have a degree in music composition and piano performance, and in my spare time I enjoy making music, cycling, cooking, and trying new restaurants.  I’m a fifth-generation New Yorker, and I’m always happy to recommend activities or restaurants to people who are new to the city.  Looking forward to working with everyone!

My name is Jake Korus and I am a sub-intern visiting from Lewis Katz School of Medicine in Philadelphia. My academic interests include point-of-care ultrasound, sports medicine, medical education, and gun violence prevention. Outside of medical school, I spend time working out, SCUBA diving, and cooking delicious food! 

Ashley Owens
Georgetown University

My name is Ashley Owens and I am a Sub-Intern visiting from Georgetown University School of Medicine. My professional interests include critical care and the dynamic challenges of emergency medicine in urban settings. In my personal time, I enjoy running, working out, downhill skiing, and water skiing. I also love spending time with my family and friends. Growing up in Washington State instilled a deep appreciation for the outdoors, and I carry that spirit of adventure with me. I am excited to continue working in urban areas, as my experiences in Washington, D.C. have reinforced my dedication to serving diverse communities.

As someone from The Bronx with origins in The Gambia, I am passionate about working with underserved communities both domestically and abroad.
