I can be contacted in various ways, although I seldom pick up messages after 6.00 pm . . .
This is usually the best and quickest way to contact me.

AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTTINGHAM
I am now retired, but I am still involved in research, and in other University activities as an 'Emeritus Professor'. As of September 2020, I no longer have an office in the School of Psychology building.
If you need to contact (me via) my colleagues in the School, the directory is here.
If I am not around, the person who can probably help with any work-related queries is
Emily Amos: 0115 84 66966, Emily.Amos1@nottingham.ac.uk
ReBSA
A group of us who all do Research in Behaviour Sequence Analysis have got together to form 'ReBSA'. We collaborate on various research projects and papers; exchange and develop research methods; and advise other researchers and groups on ways of using Behaviour Sequence Analysis in their work. Details of who we are and what we do are here.
MOBILE PHONE
Please email me for more details if you need to be in touch by mobile, text, or WhatsApp. In general, I would much rather be emailed than rung, if possible. The exceptions are family and close friends; pre-arranged calls; and problems which are really urgent. The phone is often diverted to voicemail, and is usually switched off and unchecked in the evenings and weekends, unless I am away from Nottingham. Please leave some kind of message rather than keeping me guessing. If I get a call from an unrecognised number I am likely to reject it, and rely on callers to leave a voice message if they are serious about contacting me.
TEXTING
This is bad way to contact me, in general, as my mobile phone is often switched off, and there is no other way I can check for texts. Emails, on the other hand, go to every computer and mobile device I use, and they are checked at frequent intervals, 365 days a year.
VIDEO CALLING
I sometimes use Teams, but it is best to pre-arrange a call by email as I do not leave it running. I am also open to using Google Meet. I do not use Facetime.
SOCIAL MEDIA
I have WhatsApp, but I do not use Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
