WORKSHOPS BUCKSTOP (Pre- and On-Tour)

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with community sponsors regarding workshop details (see checklist below)

  • Coordinate Chautauquans who will be leading workshops

    • Who's doing what (leaders and helpers)

    • Get descriptions for each workshop

    • Who needs a table

    • What supplies are needed

    • How much help needed schlepping stuff before/after?

    • Set-up & Clean-up Crew

  • Develop workshop Promo (w/Promo buckstops)

    • List of workshops & Descriptions (for each community)

    • Times, location

Workshop Checklist (for each Community)

Talk to local sponsor to set up and confirm:

  • Location

  • Indoors or Outdoors?

  • Times (start, stop, # of sessions)

  • Parking

    • for our bus

    • for the public

  • Promo

    • Details for flyers to Parade Buckstop

    • Radio announcements

    • Other publicity

  • What if it rains...?

  • Are there local folks who would want to lead a workshop?

  • Are there local folks who would want to have an information table at our workshops?

    • Are there local clubs (juggle clubs, etc.) that might want to join us

      • If you find any clubs, coordinate with Parade buckstop to let them know about them too
