SHOW (Tech) BUCKSTOP (Pre- and On-Tour)

Responsibilities:

  • Talk to sponsor to get details on, and confirm:

    • Theater Details

      • size (number seats, stage size, ceiling clearance)

      • backstage? wings? green room?

      • stairs to stage?

      • band chairs available (15-20)

    • Tech (sound, lights) - equipment and staff

    • Rigging - options (if we have an aerial act)

    • Schedule (load in, load out)

    • Stage Dressing (banners, etc)

  • Talk to Performers / Acts

    • Any large props?

    • Lighting or Sound needs (wants)?

  • Begin working with tentative show committee

    • List of acts, needs, etc.

  • Will we have Programs? If so may need to coordinate with Theaters to see if they have an insert or what-not...

  • Visit theater ASAP upon arriving in town to visually confirm details and get the layout, etc...
