My name is Michelle Aga, and I am passionate about teaching. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA, and I received my Master’s degree from Georgia State University in Mathematics Education. I taught one year in St. Charles Parish, LA (5th grade), then moved to the Atlanta area in 1985. I taught three years in DeKalb County (4th and 5th grade) and thirteen years in Gwinnett County (Middle School mathematics). I took five years off when I had my youngest daughter. In 2006, I began teaching again. I taught private Pre-K for two years. In 2008, I was hired as a kindergarten teacher at River Eves Elementary in Fulton County. I was moved to 5th grade in 2009 and I taught 5th grade until spring 2016, except for the 2011-2012 school year where I asked to be moved to fourth grade as my youngest daughter was a 5th grader. In 2016 I began teaching TAG at Northwood Elementary. This year I will continue teaching TAG-I love it! I am thrilled with the opportunity to teach your wonderful children. Though this is my seventh year as a teacher at Northwood Elementary, I was a parent in the Centennial Cluster for 20 years.
As we journey together through TAG Units, I look forward to getting to know and work with each and every one of you. Thank you in advance for your support. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me: school (470)254-6390 or e-mail aga@fultonschools.org
