The Students Will Know:

• The bodies of our solar system can be studied for many different features.

• Only select people become astronauts.

• It is possible that other intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe.

• Many things need to be considered before a Mars colony can be established.

• Many science fiction books are available to read.

• Many problems must be solved before we can travel to and colonize Mars.
