Any vector based design software will work to create the design/DXF file. Learning VCarve Pro will help you use other machines in the future. The engineering print below has the information necessary for any software.

The CNC Plasma table is a great place to start in the Fab Lab. Lessons learned here will transfer to other machines and design software. For specifics on G-code and machine controllers talk with Northwood Fab Lab employees.
