Last time I was here, I cleverly hinted on a hardware joke. Now, I regret I have already used it. I should have looked forward to more apt topics I can insert it to. Nevertheless, my frustration will now be divided into that, allotting my time to this, and other matters not safe for publication.
This time, I will earnestly admit that I can give absolutely no interest on this task I am being graded upon. That is, at times, I give the minimum effort to pass. Not that I will pass this time, nor am I pleading to be given a satisfactory credit. But the trick is my saying all this is content itself. Now I wonder how things will turn out.
In any case, unlike my entry, the feature for this week isn't dull at all. Mythbusters is a show on Discover Channel which is running for 11 seasons dating back to 2003. This show was my spirited recreation in high school. Dated 2008, the main hosts, Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage, appeared on NVIDIA's event NVISION. They built a painting machine and demonstrated on the stage the difference between CPU and GPU, i.e. sequential and parallel processing. "What transpired included two robots, thousands of paint balls and the Mona Lisa herself."1
Watching Adam explain what Leonardo 10.0 is going to do in a span of 80 milliseconds, Jamie count down, and Adam laugh hysterically makes this video worth a blogger's item.
