iPhone 13
https://www.coolblue.nl/en/advice/how-do-you-choose-the-right-charger-for-your-apple-iphone-13.html
The fastest way to charge your iPhone 13 is with a Power Delivery fast charger with at least 20W power. Is your battery empty when you're about to head out? Connect your smartphone to an iPhone 13 charger and your battery will be back up to 55 to 60% in 30 minutes. A standard 12W charger will only get you back up to 30 to 35% in that amount of time. You don't need an original Apple charger. Chargers from other brands are just as fast.
The Apple iPhone 13 only includes a USB-C to Lightning cable. That means you don't have to buy a charger with a cable. You can also buy a separate charger adapter. In that case, make sure you buy a charger with a USB-C port. Otherwise, the cable included with your iPhone won't fit. Keep in mind that this included cable is a simple plastic cable. Do you want your charging cable to last longer? We recommend a sturdy nylon cable.
Can you use your old charger and cable?
You old iPhone charger and cable work just fine with your iPhone 13. Does your old charger had an angular USB-A connector? In that case, the charger is 2 to 3 times slower as a new fast charger. In addition, the new included USB-C to Lightning cable doesn't fit your old charger. Do you buy a new separate fast charger? You old USB-A to Lightning cables don't fit on the new charger anymore. Luckily, your iPhone includes a new USB-C to Lightning cable which does fit.

Do you want to charge wirelessly as well?
You can charge your iPhone 13 wirelessly by simply placing your device on the charger.. No hassle with cables. Choose a wireless charging dock and charge your Apple Watch and/or AirPods at the same time. You can wirelessly charge your iPhone 13 extra fast with a 15W Apple MagSafe charger. You attach this charger to your iPhone via the magnet. It'll charge your device up to 30% in half an hour. Without fast charging, this amount of time will only get you 20%.
Do you want to charge multiple devices?
Don't you have many sockets at home? You can charge multiple Apple devices at the same time with a fast charger with multiple ports. With the oval USB-C fast charge port, you can charge your iPhone extra fast via Power Delivery. You can charge your Apple Watch and AirPods at the same time with the angular USB-A port. With this port, you can also charge your iPhone, but this isn't as fast.
If you have a newer-generation MacBook Air or MacBook Pro, you can also use that USB-C brick to charge your iPhone as well. The iPhone 13 will only charge at about 20 watts of maximum throughput, but you can safely use higher-wattage USB-C chargers too. You just won’t see any additional speed.
Wired charging always beats outs wireless for speed and efficiency. However, using the Apple MagSafe charger, you can get reasonably fast inductive charging performance.
The MagSafe puck magnetically snaps to the back of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13, and that secure fit enables a faster charging speed than standard Qi. Using MagSafe, you can achieve up to 15-watt charging speeds. Using MagSafe, you can charge from zero to 50% in about 50 minutes, and attain 100% charge in about 2.5-3 hours.
In contrast, using a basic Qi charger, the iPhone will charge at a maximum of 7.5 watts. This is equivalent to about four-to-five hours charge time to reach 100%, depending on model. Although this is much slower than the above alternative methods, if you are just charging your iPhone at bedtime on a nightstand or similar, it’s probably fine and is otherwise the most convenient option. Using a MagSafe charger also requires using a MagSafe-compatible case, and often includes ugly markings on the rear of the device. Standard Qi can work through pretty much any case on the market.

While officially all iPhone 13 and 14 models charge with a maximum of 20 watts, according to multiple tests the iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max can charge at up to 29 watts, and the iPhone 14 at up to 25W—so a power supply with at least 30W could offer more than the official 20W charger from Apple. You can also use a beefy MacBook charger. It won’t charge your iPhone at 100W but you’ll get the maximum possible charge into your phone.
These iPhones won’t stay charging at 27W of power the entire time, however. It appears that 29W charging only starts when a battery is at about 10% capacity and increasing. Once the battery life is above 40%, it will charge at around 23W—apparently caused by heat build up.
--
Via MagSafe, all iPhone 12, 13 and 14 models can charge with a maximum of 15 watts. This is twice the 7.5W speed offered by wireless charging via the Qi (pronounced “Chee”) standard that’s used on older iPhones from the iPhone 8 to iPhone 11 as well as non-Apple phones.

Wireless charging (iPhone 8 and above)
Learn how to wirelessly charge your iPhone with Qi-certified charging accessories.
What you need
You need an iPhone 8 or later.
Your iPhone features integrated wireless charging that allows for an easy and intuitive charging experience. Your iPhone works with Qi-certified chargers that are available as accessories and in cars, cafes, hotels, airports, and furniture. Qi is an open, universal charging standard created by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC).
Many Qi-certified chargers charge iPhone with the latest version of iOS at rates up to 7.5 watts. These chargers are available at the Apple Online Store and Apple Stores.
View a list of Qi-certified chargers.
Other Qi-certified chargers might vary in functionality and performance. If you have questions, contact the manufacturer.
Charge wirelessly
Connect your charger to power. Use the power adapter that came with your accessory or a power adapter recommended by the manufacturer.
Place the charger on a level surface or other location recommended by the manufacturer.
Place your iPhone on the charger with the display facing up. For best performance, place it in the center of the charger or in the location recommended by manufacturer.
Your iPhone should start charging a few seconds after you place it on your wireless charger.
You should see the Charging icon in the status bar.

Wireless charging uses magnetic induction to charge your iPhone. Don't place anything between your iPhone and the charger. Magnetic mounts, magnetic cases, or other objects between your iPhone and the charger might reduce performance or damage magnetic strips or RFID chips like those found in some credit cards, security badges, passports, and key fobs. If your case holds any of these sensitive items, remove them before charging or make sure that they aren’t between the back of your iPhone and the charger.
If your iPhone isn't charging or is charging slowly and your iPhone has a thick case, metal case, or battery case, try removing the case.
If your iPhone vibrates—when it gets a notification, for example—your iPhone might shift position. This can cause the charging mat to stop providing power to your iPhone. If this happens often, consider turning off vibration, turning on Do Not Disturb, or using a case to prevent movement.
Depending on the charging mat you have, you might hear faint noises while your iPhone charges.
Your iPhone might get slightly warmer while it charges. To extend the lifespan of your battery, if the battery gets too warm, software might limit charging above 80 percent. Your iPhone will charge again when the temperature drops. Try moving your iPhone and charger to a cooler location.
Your iPhone won't charge wirelessly when connected to USB. If your iPhone is connected to your computer with USB, or if it's connected to a USB power adapter, your iPhone will charge using the USB connection.
Apple’s MagSafe wireless charging provides optimal magnetic alignment for faster, more efficient charging. MagSafe wireless charging includes technologies that reduce energy waste when compared to other wireless charging methods. Learn about charging with the MagSafe Charger and MagSafe Duo Charger.

Portable fast charging: Charge with a power bank
When out and about and running low on juice, a handy power bank (battery pack) is your saviour. These can be either wired so you get a fast connection via a Lightning cable, or wireless, with the same limitations as listed above.
With MagSafe, you get the option of a wireless power bank that clamps onto the back of your iPhone magnetically. This is a fast and much more convenient method of charging an iPhone on the go, and we have rounded up the best MagSafe power banks so you can choose the one that best suits your charging needs.
10K power banks (with a 10000mAh battery capacity) can charge a phone close to two times over, while 5K (5000mAh) battery packs usually stretch between 60-75%, which is often enough to get you to the next wall-socket powering opportunity. If you are relying on the power bank for long-haul travel or a camping trip, a 10K battery or higher will suit you better.
If a power bank is rated as MagSafe Certified it will wirelessly charge at up to 15W.
We have listed the speeds at which each portable power bank can be charged itself (Input charger) and charge the iPhone (Output charger). Some power banks can charge a phone faster if you connect a cable, and we have highlighted those below. The higher the wattage, the faster the charging should be.
