MFJ TNC-2 Developments

MFJ, a long-time manufacturer of amateur radio equipment based in the US State of Mississippi. Reasonably-priced in the US but over here in the UK over-priced by the distributors Wasters and Station, even when the $/£ exchange rate was more favourable.

They manufactured a line of TNCs and Multimode data controllers based on the TAPR TNC-2 design. Whilst not the most aesthetically pleasing pieces of equipment, they certainly were functional and included some innovations to add additional modes and facilities to the basic packet TNC.
