The National Grasshopper Management Board
The NGMB's goal is facilitating communication among private, state, tribal and federal stakeholders interested in better grasshopper management.
Why the NGMB? “Previous to the destructive outbreak which was at its peak in 1876, grasshoppers seem to have been generally accepted as punishment for sinful living and nothing much was done except to cuss their activities and pray for help.” J. R. Parker 1940
The National Grasshopper Management Board, in cooperation with USDA-APHIS-PPQ, invites you to attend the 2022 Post Field Season Conference starting the morning of September 20th and concluding at the end of business on the 21st., 2022.
Registration for the meeting in Salt Lake City meeting is available on Brown Paper Tickets here: https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/5529808
The cost is $50. If you would like to request a registration waiver you can email: ngmb.gh@gmail.com to do so. I registered for the meeting and it worked smoothly. While I was at it, I called the Sheraton Hotel and reserved my hotel room for $128 per night via the NGMB negotiated room block rate. To get that rate you need to reserve them a month (Aug19th) before the event.
The meeting will take place at the Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel. Please reserve the dates and contact the hotel at least a month before the conference start date to ensure you get the negotiated room block price. The reservation information is below. Be sure to ask for the our room block!
