Grant Cycle Timeframe and Decision Process

  • Jan – Application period opens. Interested community organizations complete a brief one page "Notification of Interest" to register intent to submit a formal grant application.

  • March – Application period closes (subject to earlier closing based on volume of received notifications)

  • April - Organizations selected for continued consideration in second phase are notified and requested to complete full application. All first and second phase applicants notified of status.

  • May - Second phase application deadline

  • June - Finalists selected and skype interviews conducted

  • July - Finalists Interviewed and awards determined

  • September - Investment awards announced. All second phase participants notified of award decisions Grant disbursement provided. in three intervals:

  1. First disbursement (50% of award) provided upon award announcement

  2. Second disbursement (35% of award) provided based on documentation of 50% completion including expense verification and narrative report

  3. Final disbursement (15% of award) provided contingent on receipt of 12 month project report on outcomes progress including expense documentation

  4. Provide brief 2 year report on status of project
