2015 Application Period Closed - Status Update

This is an update on the status of the 2015 NWN grant cycle. The application submission period closed July 1, 2015. We fielded inquiries from 113 organizations located in 38 different countries. From these inquiries, we subsequently received 81 completed applications for community development projects.

We are in the process of reviewing the applications. We will select finalists and schedule a skype call with the project leader(s) to make introductions, review the project, and address outstanding questions. After completing this process, we will announce our 2015 award, on or before September 1, 2015.

We appreciate the time and effort required to complete a NWN application submission on behalf of your community. From what we have reviewed so far, we are continually impressed by the vision and creativity of the project plans and the tireless dedication to improve the quality of life for the communities. Based on the compelling stories and bold energy, we wish that we could directly fund more projects.

Following our 2015 award announcement and subject to approval from selected community organizations, we also intend to promote our top submissions for funding consideration by other sources. We will list these organizations and projects on our website, www.NextWorldNow.org and actively advocate with other potential investors on behalf of these projects. We will forward completed NWN applications and contact information to potential funders when requested.

Our 2016 funding cycle will begin to accept applications starting January 1, 2016. Meanwhile, may your organization be successful and experience good fortune.
