A VISIT TO EVERETT - I learned from the April 1955 issue of RAILROAD MAGAZINE that EG&F was still operating steam at a time when there was very little steam to be seen in my area. I went to the plant office in Everett, was given a hardhat and was escorted to the enginehouse where I shot a few now deteriorated Anscochrome slides. There were four switchers in steam at the enginehouse and at least one at work in the yard.
