30th Class Reunion

30th Reunion Memories

The weather was nice, the park was lovely and we were the only group there. Plenty of delicious food, thanks to those who manned the grill! Judging from the photo the turnout was 43 classmates. Add in spouses and children from age 5 into their 20s, and the total turnout was in the neighborhood of 100 people.

Mark Harrison. I had alot of fun, it was good to see everyone. Thank you again Ralph for leading the way. Announcement

The 30th Reunion is scheduled for August 8, 2009 at the pavillion at Carpenter Recreation Area, 880 New London Road in Newark, from 4PM to sunset (8pm). It is a pot-luck cookout and is FREE. Children are welcome and we will set up volleyball and other games. Beer and wine are permitted.

Check the People page to make sure we have your email address. We've only reached 1/3 of the class by email! Please contact me if you have email addresses for anyone missing theirs.

Rain Date. We have arranged a rain date thanks to donations from Carol, Dolores, Kathy, Karen, Mark, and Vinnie. The rain date is Sunday August 9, 2PM-6PM (or later) at Bellevue State Park, 800 Carr Rd, Wilmington DE 19809.

RSVP. The "what I'm bringing" list at the bottom of the page will serve as your RSVP. See you there!

What I'm Bringing

Click "Edit this Page" and put your name at the bottom of the page with what you are bringing. Bring enough of a single item for 2 to 4 people, eg a pack of hot dogs and rolls, OR a pie, OR a box of cookies, OR 1 lb potato salad, OR 2 cases of beer (that's a joke of course!). If you see that 10 other people are signed up for hamburgers, then pick something else! Email me if you live nearby and can bring sporting goods.

• Billy Carrow - (4 attendees) - Chicken Wings / Barbeque ( Sweet) and Buffalo (Hot) How ever many wings there are in 10 lbs.

• Tina (Wilkinson) Madanat - (2-4 attending) Ambrosia, which is a fruit salad made with sour cream and marshmallows

• Lisa (Zlatkin) Moore 2-3 attendees Will bring macaroni salad (enough for 20) a desert(TTBD) and large cooler with ice
• Steve Searl (1 attendee) - vegetable pasta salad, cooler with ice, lemonade and iced tea.

• Shawn Stauffer (3-5) - I plan on bringing coolers and ice; sodas; and my wife makes a killer taco dip.

• Terri Archino Mishaw - 2 attendees, burgers, rolls and a CD player with lots of 70's tunes for the dance contest..lol
• Jim George - (2) cooler of canned beer, pasta salad and cookies/brownies
• Steve Stark - 1 + Guringo. Cooler of beer, side of beans, wings
• Lori Bowman - (1) Hot dogs, buns, soda
• Ming (Chen) Wong - (2) Wine and Dessert
• Mark Harrison - (1) Chips, Paper plates, napkins, plastic utensils, cups, water, beer, ice, large cooler
• Dave Bova - (Attendees - just me) subs (too hot to cook) and cold beverages
• Bob & Donna Smith - (2 + whichever kids have nothing better to do :) - Jalapeno hummus, pita chips, veggie slices, beer. I only counted 5 coolers of beer so far - not the NHS79 I used to know!! (Ralph - I'll bring a ladder ball game in case the teens and 20-somethings are looking for beer alternatives)
• Vinnie Piazza - (1 person) 3 cases beer on ice in response to Bob's comment. Figured Miller Light, Coors Light, and one for me! We'll see! I will likely bring some type of chicken if I can talk Sherry into stopping! If anyone has a wish list for beer, let me know.
