Time: 3PM to dusk (8PM)
Place: Carpenter State Park Pavillion, 880 New London Road, Newark
Cost: FREE (park admission is $3 in-state or $6 out of state)
Afterparty: Looks like Jim George has stepped up for the afterparty, see below!
Rain Date: none -- the pavillion is adequate for rain.
- As of the morning, the forecast is a high of 77 and mostly cloudy
We will follow the same approach as we did for the 30th reunion: Pot-luck food, BYOB, family members welcome. This time we will start earlier (3PM) and plan ahead for an afterparty, since we got caught off guard last year when The Man kicked us out of the park at sunset!

Please click the EDIT link and append ideas/discussion/volunteer for an Afterparty.
- Ralph Gonzalez: I remember last time some local classmates volunteered to host an afterparty at their house, anyone care to do that this time around?
- Dave Bova: I would like to suggest reserving a restaurant or meeting room for the evening for dinner and drinks. About 12 of us ended up at Deer Park after the last reunion then went to Klondike Kate’s for beverages. We had a great time just sitting around chatting. Carmen and I made the suggestion after the last reunion to reserve a meeting room or something where we could keep it going. I am happy to chip in, even if it’s for a dinner reservation.
- Carmen (Dominguez) Finnicum: An affordable and casual place for an afterparty with food and drinks is the room on the second floor of Klondike Kates.
- Tina (Wilkinson) Madanat: Skyline Grille, located nearby (Three Little Bakers), plenty of parking, nice size bar, food, outdoor deck and dancing.
- Jim George: Bring a bathing suit, beer, leftovers, togas, whatever and Becky and I would be happy to have the after party at our house/pool. Don't want to post address, but ask around many know where I live. We will be late to Reunion due to a wedding.
