Biography

Working as an independent dance artist, physical theatre performer, choreographer & dance teacher, Yvonne McCombie specialises in Middle Eastern, Turkish & North African dance forms, Contemporary, Street/Hip Hop, Creative Movement and Physical Theatre.

She has worked extensively with groups needing additional support including those with learning & physical disabilities, people with substance misuse problems & mental health issues, youth & children groups, women’s groups & asylum seekers.

Solo Bellydance performances have included a wide variety of cabarets, corporate, private & community events.

Director and Choreographer for Nemesis Works (physical theatre) and for The BellyBabies (student dance group)

She is also a qualified Pilates teacher (Fundamental Matwork and Remedial Pilates), Air Control Aerial Pilates teacher and Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner.
