Neighbors and Newcomers Wins Tree Decorating Contest:
Neighbors and Newcomers’ members Jan Elwood, Carolyn O’Neal, Mary Stuart, Mary Barnwell and Rose Nelson meet to plan for the Tree Decorating Project at the First National Bank of TN on Peavine Road. The theme they chose was patriotic with military insignias, stars and yellow ribbons to honor our service men and women. Several organizations will each be decorating one of the evergreens outside the bank building – all different, all special. Come by the bank after December 1 to admire and appreciate the holiday trees.
