Truncated Icosahedron

The truncated icosahedron contains 60 vertices and 90 edges. To tile this figure, we were able to use two tile types, which are shown in the figure below.

The blue lines represent the bond edge type a and orange lines represent its complement ; the green lines represent the bond edge type b and the red lines represent its complement b-hat. The dihedral angle between two hexagonal faces is 138o 11' and the angle between a hexagonal face and pentagonal face is 142o 32'. The angle between the arms that make up the hexagonal faces is 120o and the angle between arms of pentagonal faces is 108o.
