DTrace Linux

This blog shows how to install DTrace on Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) 6 Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel (UEK).  The references for this install are here at Oracle and here at Ronald Rood blog. Dtrace is a powerful diagnostics utility from Oracle that was ported over (partially) from Oracle Solaris to Linux.  Some modules have not yet been ported, such as "fbt" but this is still a very useful scriptable diagnostic tool.  The below blog shows how to install it.  It is best installed from the Unbreakable Linux Network, but Ronald Rood blog indicates it can also be configured from Oracle Public Yum server.
