What is a Model Classroom?

Post date: Feb 29, 2016 7:05:58 PM

In collaboration with ALL North Andover Public Schools, the High School would like to provide you with the following information regarding the district vision of the “Model Classroom.”

WHAT IS A MODEL CLASSROOM?

The model classroom consists of four basic tools:

1. Computer

2. Mounted Projectors (most HS classrooms already have these, just entail upgrading any non working)

3. Document Camera

4. Wireless connectivity to the Projector from Computer

The four components will work seamlessly together and will require basic instruction to begin using them effectively in the classroom. All of the products we chose will work with the Teacher MacBook Air as well as the student Chromebook. The goal is to provide the tools teacher and students need so they can more easily collaborate and share information with each other.*

Ultimately, the goal is to increase student achievement through appropriate technology! To that end, the NAHS PAC needs to help raise a significant amount of money. The High School needs approximately $30,000+ to reach the proposed Model Classroom level. We are directly appealing to our school community to ask for donations for this effort. Please consider donating something towards making this project a reality.

The NAHS PAC is a 501 (3) (c) charitable organization so, ALL CONTRIBUTIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE.

Any contribution to this project is greatly appreciated. For a more detailed description of the items we are looking to provide at the high school, please review the attached.

For a tax deductible contribution, make check out to NAHS PAC
