Description: A multi-day drive through Joshua Tree, Mojave Desert, and Death Valley in mid-April. Fortynine Palms Oasis, Kelso Dunes, Mesquite Dunes, Mosaic Canyon and Dante's Peak were highlights.
Fortynine Palm Oasis is easily reached at the end of a pleasant ~1.5mi trail. The short hike itself was as enjoyable as the destination, if not more.
Many flower cacti to photograph along the way
Joshua trees and interesting rock formations abound
