Surrey Square Park has some fabulous sunsets. Party because of London renown "Red Skies" and partly because of its sheltered position amongst tall buildings put the place in a shadow when the evening lit.
2010 was a particularly good year maybe because of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano eruptions that filled the northern skies with fine dust and sulphur based chemicals that produced intense hues of yellows and reds.
Especially in summer is a pleasure to lounge about and enjoy the shows.
Also Alison, a former resident, took many picture of the park and its sunsets and nights. You can find her set in FLICKR.
