 Clothing factories and mills were quite common in the area.  A woman leaves the Cohen-Fine Dress Manufacturing building where my mother worked for many years.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 The Wholesale District was located along Pennsylvania Avenue in Wilkes-Barre.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Delaware & Hudson interchanged with the Jersey Central in Wilkes-Barre.

Heavy industries were located throughout the Wyoming Valley. The American Can Company was
