Some say that the planets are tormenting. There is no ill effects say others. When you are there I have no worry. Therefore I seek refuge in you Oh Lord Chakrapani.
2. viviDhaani oushaDhaani bhavanthi nishphalam
vaidhyao api na SakthaH aamayam naaSayithum
sThithe thvayi mahaavaidhye na kimchith bhayam me
thasmaath thvameva SaraNam mama chakrapaaNe
Various medicines become ineffective. The doctor is also not able to cure the disease. But when You the greatest doctor is there I have no fear. Therefore I seek refuge in you Oh Lord Chakrapani
3. mamahrdhayathaapam apaakuru maDhukaitabhaare
thavaiva SravaNa bhajanakeerthaneshu nimagnam
mano na vichaalayanthu itharaa cha thrshNaaH
thasmaath thvameva SaraNam mama chakrapaaNe
Oh destroyer of Madhu and Kaitabha, remove the agony in my heart. Let my mind which is always immersed in listening about you, worshipping you and singing your glory, not be tempted by other desires.
4.khapushpa mrgathrshNaabhiH mohitho aham bhaveyam
yadhi marukaanthaare jagathi maayaaDhoomaavrthadhiSaH
paThi nashte bhaveH thvam maargadharSee dhayaaluH
thasmaath thvameva SaraNam mama chakrapaaNe
If I become deluded by illusory things like skyyflower and mirage in the desert called the world and the direction being covered with the smoke of delusion I get lost , you should be my guide out of mercy. Therefore I seek refuge in you Oh Lord Chakrapani.
5.thvameva vethsi kim me Sreyo ithi
svathaH dhaasyasi thath aprshtameva
Dhanyo asmi the krpaakataakshapaTham gatho aham
thasmaath thvameva SaraNam mama chakrapaaNe
You alone know what is good for me and you will give it to me unasked. I am blessed to have come within the path of your grace Therefore I seek refuge in you Oh Lord Chakrapani.
6.nrsimha sthambhodhbhava puNyamoorthe
gopeemanohara Krshna hare mukundha
thava smaraNamevaasthu sadhaa mamaikam
thasmaath thvameva SaraNam mama chakrapaaNe
Oh Nrsimha, of the pure form ,who came out of the pillar, Oh Krishna, the enchanter of gopis, Oh Mukundha . May the thought of you be with me forever. Therefore I seek refuge in you Oh Lord Chakrapani
7.thvameva sarvam ithi niSchithaa DheeH
dhrDam mama asthu hrdhaye ithi me praarThanaa
thavaasmi Sesho ithi smara raksha maam thvam
thasmaath thvameva SaraNam mama chakrapaaNe
My prayer is this. Let the firm thought that you are everything be in my mind. Remember me as your property and protect me. Therefore I seek refuge in you Oh Lord Chakrapani.
8.dhandyosmyaham yadhyapi cheth mahaparaaDhee
chiraanubhootham thu mayaa hrcChalyam
thavaasthithu karuNaapaareeNa ithi prThaa
thasmaath thvameva SaraNam mama chakrapaaNe
Even if I am punishable being the worst sinner the suffering in my heart has been for long. You have the reputation of being the utmost limit of mercy. Therefore I seek refuge in you Oh Lord Chakrapani.
2. krshnavimSathiH
1.krshNam mama priyathamam sadhaaham chinthayaami sathatham yatho aham
paSyaami sarvathra thameva so maam Sraavayathu thadhgaanasuDhaarasena
I think about Krishna who is most dear to me because of which I see him everywhere. May he make me hear His nectarine music.
2.maDhurabhakthiyuthaaH gopikaaH l krshNam vallabham manyamaanaaH
yaThaa praapthaa SreshThathamaam gathim thaThaaanugrhNathu maamapi maaDhavaH
May Lord Madhava grace me with that state in which the gopis considering Krishna as their beloved reached the highest state through madhurabhakthi.
3. veNuranDhrapoorithamaaruthaH keSavamukhaath utThithaH vahathi
maDhuSeekarakarna rasaayanam yath bahvathi bhava thaapanabheshajam
The air that has risen from the mouth of Kesava which fills the holes of the flute bearing drops of nectarine elixir to the ears becomes the remedy for the heat of samsara.
4.kaalindhee thata saikatha vilasatheem soundharyalahareem paSyanthaH thasyaam
vallaveejanahamsinyaH avagaahya samsaarasaagaraath uttheerNaa babhoovuH
Plunging into the waves of beauty that shines on the sandbanks of Yamuna the swans of gopis emerged out from the ocean of samsara.
5.maDhuragaanapradham maThuraa naayakam thridhaSaSakthipradham dhevakeesutham
bhakthijnaanapradham bhaagavathapeeyoosham vaagvaidhagDhya pradham vaasudhevam baje
I bow down to Vasudeva the son of Devaki , who gives sweet music, who is the Lord of Mathura , who bestows power to the devas, who gives janan and bhakthi , who is the nectar of the devotees and who gives the skill of speech.
6.dhamodharo paramDhaamaH yamalodDharthaa bimbaaDharamuraleenyastha sankethakaH
jalaDhaaraa iva yaThaa sarathi nimnapadham thaTHaa yaanthi sarve uthkrshtam thath padham
When Damodara of supreme abode , who was the saviour of the twin trees and who gave out messages through His flute placed on His lips like bimba fruit, flows down lie the stream of water ( coming down to protect the devotees from His supreme abode) then all are elevated and go to His abode.
7.ulookale badDhaH badDhaan mochayathi naveetham chorayan iva harathi dhurithaani
gopeevallabhaH san apohathi sarvakaamaan krshNa eva esha ajnaanaDhvaanthahanthaa
Bound in the mortar, He releases the bound from their bondage, under the pretext of stealing butter he destroys all sins. While he is the beloved of the gopis, he removes all desires. Krishna alone is the destroyer of the darkness of ignorance.
8.kaaliyaSiralaanChithapaadhaH nyasathu mama Sirasi padham mukundhaH
panchendhriyaahibhiH peeditham thraathum poorvakarmavishavegamoorchitham
May Mukundha who marked the head of kaliya with His feet place His foot on my head, who is attacked by the serpents of the five indhriyas ans has swooned due to the power of the poison of past karma.
9.navaneetham iva kabalithaH dhaavaagniH yena hariNaa thasya kim na sakyam?
me paapam kaamaanilavarDhitham agnim sa eva bhakshyeth sarvasya atthaa
By Hari who swallowed the forest fire like butter, what is impossible? He alone will eat the fire of my sin which is fanned by the wind of desire as He consumes everything.
10.upaSamayeth bhavathaapam karuNaa varsham janayan abhayamudhrithakaraH yaH puraa
Dhaarayan govarDhana girim raraksha gopaan athibheeshaNa varshaDhaaraabhiraarthaan
He who protected the gopas from the terrible downpour by holding up the Govardhana mountain will quench the heat of samsara creating a shower of mercy by his hand showing abhayamudhra.
11.vamSeeprasarpithamaDhurasvaro vaa aabheerasakhaabhirmaDhuraalaapanam vaa
gopeejanamanohara maDhurahasitham vaa sarvam bhavathi bhagavathgithaasaarameva
The sweet sound emitted from the flute or the pleasant conversation with his friends or the sweet laughter which stole the heart of the gopis , all were nothing but the essence of Bhagavat gita.
12.sookaraakrthinaasaagaramagnaaDharaa yaThaa samudDhrthya niveSithaa thale
thaThaa asmaan api udDhrthya bhavaarNavaath nyaveSayathu saH thadhbhakthisalile
Just as He lifted the earth which was immersed in the ocean and placed it on the water, may He lift us also from the sea of samsara and place us on the water of His bhakthi.
13.sookararoopo vaa mathsayvapurDharao vaa naraharivesho vaa koormaSareero vaa
Kaamschidhapi bhoomikaam Dhaarayathi maayee kamalanayanaireva grhyathe bhakthaiH
Whether He takes the form of a boar or appears in the body of a fish, or puts on the disguise of man-lion, or He is in the form of a tortoise, whichever costume He dons , the enchanter that He is, His devotees recognize Him by His lotus eyes.
14. sahasranaamnaH naama anekam kaaraNa dhyothakam
theshu eka eva ramaNeeyam thath raama ithi naama
Of Him who has thousand names there are numerous names due to different reasons. But of them one name is only beautiful and that is the name Rama.
15.viviDhaani roopaaNi hariNaa Dhrthaani chidhachith aatmakaviSishtajagathi
thaThaapi thadhroopam eka eva na naanaa aadharsa sahasraparathibimbitha mukhamiva
Lord Hari takes various forms in the world of sentient and insentient beings of which He is the inner Self. But even then His form is one only, like the face reflected in a thousand mirrors.
16. naanaavarnapushpaiH harim poojayanthaH na jaananthi kim thasya sumam priyathamam
na thushyathi thaThaa achyuthaH anyaiH hrdhpadhmasamarpaNena modhathe yaThaa
Do they who worship Lord Hari with various flowers know not the flower which is most loved by Him? Achyutha does not delight with any other flower as He does with the offering of the lotus of the heart.
17.karpooraneeraajanadharSanena alam na DhoopadheepaadhibhiH labDhaa krpaarhathaa
bhakthyaadhagDhaa yadhi hrdhaydhurvaasanaaH neeraajanam cha thath Dhoopa dheepam cha
Enough of showing karpoora neerajanam , dhoopa dheepam etc. If the bad impulses of the heart are burnt(with bhakthi) that becomes neeraajana etc.
18.abheeshtavaradha athisayasukhadha bhakthaabhayapradha karuNaavaaridha
bhavaarthimukthipradha suhrdhpriyamvadha murahare mukundha praseedha praseedha
Be pleased Oh Lord Mukundha the destroyer of Mura, and who give what is wished for, provides extreme happiness, gives refuge to devotees, the rain-bearing cloud of mercy, who gives mukthi to those who suffer in the samsara and who speaks pleasantly to His friends( those with good heart)
19.nrsimha karuNaapaanga prahasithamukha ajnaana thimiranaaSana bhaaskara bhaasvara
vaanChithaaDhika phaladha kalpakapaadhapa thava dhayyardhrahrdhayam na jaananthi sarve
Oh Nrsimha, who has merciful glance and laughing face, who is the sun that destroys the darkness of ignorance and who give more than one asks for and like kalpatharu all do not understand your merciful heart.
20.Seshaadhrinaayaka thava paadhamoolam grhNan api aGhapraachryaath mano me
Vepathe na viSvaasaabhaavth paranthu Dhairyaabhaavaath hi me yogyathaa abhaavaath
Oh the Lord of Seshachala, even thou I have grasped your feet my mind trembles due to the multitudes of my sins, not because of lack of faith in You but because of lack of courage and because I do not deserve your grace.
