SURFY

Surfy is a climbing robot for vertical surfaces. It uses suction cups for adhesion and a pneumatic actuator for longitudinal motion and an electrical motor for changing the direction of motion. It is a two frame robot and each frame can slide and rotate with respect to the other. It will be used for tank inspection with the help of an additional arm with sensors for non-destructive controls (NDC)
