This is a score sheet that is pretty generalized, just to show the concept. It shows how one of my crazy ideas stacks up, in a fictional situation at General Motors.
The purpose of this is to show how this method provides direction and a breakdown of partner activities necessary in any product development, not to plan a pitch to GM.
The result is that while the plan has its strong points, it shows a few weak spots that need to be addressed if the product is to go forward. Working on the good parts may be fun, but it is the work on the red areas that will yield a successful product.
