• Product Development: Lead 13 new product developments from concept to introduction, with record of 8-2-3 after introduction to the market (200%+ ROI).

• Managed a Product Development group at two companies, in which each individual was expected to launch a new product every year. They generally did.

• Project Engineering: I have led 11 Embedded Electronics Projects from kickoff to first article acceptance, and took over and finished two others that had slowed to a crawl.

• Program Management: Established Program Management at ADS/Eurotech, including requirements management, reviews, proposal methods and resource management.

• System Engineering: Chief Engineer at Smiths, System Engineer for Vehicle Tracking at Orbital Sciences, sole System Engineer at 3eTI. Lead several advanced system groups, some database design, some DDS and communications. Know that Requirements Management stuff.

• Functional Management: Director of Electrical Engineering at Fairchild Electronics. Director of Vehicle Systems at Orbital Sciences. Managed five other departments during career. Biggest group was 35 engineers and technicians. Started two of them from scratch.

• Electrical Engineering : Power Supply Design, Control Systems, Weapons and Targeting Systems, Digital Design and Sensor Interface, cockpit display and control. Dozens of designs.

• Software Engineering: Database design, embedded operating system design experience. Have implemented Sharepoint and Web based project management tools. Designed Power Supplies using software applications back when if you wanted software to do something, you had to write it yourself.

• Industry Experience: 40% Military Electronics, 40% Heavy Industrial Electronics, 20% Commercial Electronics

• Proposals: Have lead dozens of proposals, with proposal budgets of up to $400k, for defense and municipal engineering projects.
