Unhangout was an amazing tool we used in class because of its versatility. We are currently using Zoom at every meeting through our school but Unhangout allows breakout rooms that are much more simple to use and it actually runs much smoother than Zoom due to bandwidth.
I really enjoy breakout rooms in small groups more focused on a topic. In class we used it with our science cohort and were able to break into high school and middle school. Due to our specific subject matter we were able to brainstorm much more efficiently.
Thingalink is an excellent tool that I will be incorporating in my class this year in many different possible units. The best part is unlike an infographic where information is all exposed at once, students need to click on each topic exposing new information. This could help students focus better and even study for quizzes and exams. I would probably use this on a global warming unit as seen below.
