Wolf Capture & Monitoring

Since Fall 2013, 11 wolves from four packs that use areas within the boundaries of the Mt. Emily WMU have been collared by the ODFW wolf monitoring program. Since that time, all 11 collared wolves have dispersed from these packs, died, or their fates are currently unknown. This was not unexpected due to the dynamic nature of wolf packs. Currently, all of the 3 known packs with home ranges in the Mt. Emily WMU are currently uncollared.
