Prey Composition

Here we provide preliminary diet comparison for wolves, current cougars, and cougars before wolves recolonized Mt. Emily WMU. The top graph compares the proportions of fawns, yearlings and adult deer while the center graph shows a similar comparison (calves, yearlings, adults) for elk. The bottom graph shows the broad-scale pattern of the proportion of elk and deer observed at prey acquisition sites for wolves and cougars (before and after wolf recolonization).
