SSP Foxes

Page in progress this is only a stub!

The page is dedicated to the most noticeable inhabitants of the wild of Surrey Square Park:

Our own population of Foxes.

The permanent population established itself around the turn of the century, although sighting have been noted of transient visitor well before, and it has remained a presence in the park.

The numbers have been fluctuating wildly between a single individual to a maximum of 7 related individuals.

Here some picture from May 2009 when a particularly docile fox was often spotted in daylight and accosting visitors to the WilLife Area.
