The following site can be used for your MATH tracker!
IXL - This is a website that every student in the school has access to for the 2015-2016 school year. Students will only have access to the math portion of this site. Each student has their own personal user name and password. You can find this information inside the front cover of your child's homework notebook. If not please contact us and we will get that information to you. ***This site is a great way for your child to practice various math skills that they are not secure in. We encourage you to focus on the 3rd grade skills that we have learned so far in class. Working on skills that we have not learned yet may be more confusing than helpful. Also reviewing some of the second grade skills is a great way to practice for the state math test since some of those skill may show up, especially time and money!!

Lexia -This is a website that our class has access to for the 2015-2016 school year. Each student has their own personal user name and password. You can find this information inside the front cover of your child's homework notebook. If not please contact us and we will get that information to you. **This program is a reading program that is personalized to your child. Each child took a pretest for this site and based on their results the system will assign skill lessons based on your child's needs. This system teaches your child skills in areas from phonological awareness to comprehension. Students who place lower will work on phonics skills and those who place higher will work on comprehension skills. Using this website is a great way to strengthen basic skills that may or may not be taught in the classroom.
MyON - This is an online reading website that allows your child to read many different types of fiction and non-fiction texts. It is a great way to expose your child to many different topics. Your child will need a user name and password for this site. Please let us know if you need this information.
ELA - This site will bring you various other websites to help you with spelling, grammar, writing sentences, punctuation and more!
Starfall - This is a website that will help your learn to read. It teaches your child basic phonics skills that they will need in order to read.
Discovery Science Fair Center - Use this website to gain information for your science fair project!!!
Story Time - This website is a great website to listen to some wonderful stories. Here different actors and actresses will read well known stories to you!
International Children's Books - Discover books from around the world at the International Children’s Digital Library. This free site does not read the books aloud, but students can read them independently. This is a great site to learn about different regions of the world.
Dr. Seuss - For all those that love Dr. Seuss books, this is the site for you!
Fact Monster - Has Games, information, and facts galore!!
Fun Brain - Great Fun! These learning games are divided into age categories for easy navigation.
Discovery Kids - This site is similar to the one above however it is geared toward children and has more content on their level.
National Geographic Young Explorer - This great site for all the young science lovers.
Sport Illustrated for Kids - For all you sport lovers, here is a site for you kids.
Magic School Bus - Based on the science series The Magic School Bus. This site is filled with activities on various science topics such as dinosaurs, weather, and much more.
America's Library - Here you can learn the stories of America's past. Learn about inventors, politicians, performers our 50 States, and much more!
