The following games are to be played with a regular deck of playing cards.
*Face cards are the kings, queens, and jacks
Adding:
Bigger The Sum Takes The It All
(face cards represents the number 10, the ace represents the number 1, all other cards represents their given number)
How To Play
1. shuffle the cards
2. each player takes two cards
3. each player finds the sum of their two cards
4. the player that has the greatest sum wins and takes all cards
Who's The Winner
The play who ends up with the most cards at the end wins!!!
(can be played with more than one player)

To increase the level of this game you can:
1. increase the number of cards each play takes, for example have each player take 3 cards and add up 3 number in their head (each card is its own number)!!
2. have each player make multi-digit numbers by taking 4 cards.
For example:
player one picks the following cards (3 and 7) together they make 37, then they pick (1 and 7) together they make 17
once you have your two, multi-digit numbers add them together (37+17=54)
Then the next player does the same and who ever has the largest sum wins!!
Subtraction:
Bigger The Difference Wins The Pot (this works well with basic subtraction facts)
(face cards represents the number 10, the ace represents the number 1, all other cards represents their given number)
How To Play
1. shuffle the cards
2. each player takes two cards
3. each player finds the difference of their two cards (remember start with the larger number)
4. the player that has the greatest difference wins and takes all cards

On a large piece of paper or with post-its create a place chart grid that looks as follows

How To Play
1. shuffle the cards
2. each player takes 4 cards from the take pile
3. each player arranges their cards by placing one card in each of the place value spot
4. the player the can create the largest number wins and gets 5 points
5. place the cards you used in the discard pile once the take pile runs out of cards shuffle the discard pile and that becomes the new take pile
Who's The Winner
The player that reaches a set amount first wins (you and your fellow players need to set a given amount before you start to play, maybe 50 or 100, it's up to you)
