Steps for triangle proofs

1) Bring all given information to the proof

2) Look at the shape. What information does the shape give you?

(Usually it will either share the same line (reflexive property) or there will be vertical angles.)

3) Write the info that the shape gives you in the proof. Make sure you have at least 3 parts of the triangles that are congruent to each other.

4) Write that the triangles are congruent in the proof and then give the property that makes them congruent based on those 3 congruent parts. (SSS, SAS, ASA, or AAS)
