What supplies are needed for class?
1" 3 ring binder used only for math class
Lots and lots of paper (We will be killing a few trees this year.)
Pencil pouch with pencils and pens in various colors to make your notes look fun and organized
Dry erase marker and cloth to erase (We have dry erasable desks so we can save some trees. :)
Ear buds/ head phones so you can listen and watch the video notes during class without interrupting your neighbor.
Optional scientific calculator - I do have some to use during math class. I use the Casio fx-300ES PLUS if you would like to purchase the same for your student. Any scientific calculator that does fractions will work.
Optional graph paper - I do have some when it's required, but it is nice to have for other times
How can I contact you?
E-mail is the best way to contact me at mozimmerman@wsd.net. I am also available before school at 7:15 and after school until 3:15 if you would like to speak with me face to face.
How does your student need to take notes?
Notes are taken using an adaptation of Cornell notes with the paper in landscape position. The graphic below is how notes are to be set up.
